about

Economics 008 is an exploration of the situations and moods of the economic crisis 2008. Close your eyes and imagine stock traders bustling about in a mêlée, middle class families being evicted from foreclosed homes, and the melancholy that was 2008. This album spans a wide variety of electronic music sub genres including ambient songs with hints of Brian Eno like “Is this the Bottom? Part 1” and driving Detroit House in “Detroit goes to Washington”

I'm based in Portland, Or. I write my own stuff. I break genres. I'm on twitter @bubblesmusic and if you dig my stuff be my tweep. I won't bite. I use Sonar X1. I like Korg things. I love many different kinds of music. less
